High Country Conservatory of Dance offers multiple camps, intensives, and master classes for the beginning and experienced dancer. Below is the upcoming schedule.

7& Under:

Disney Princess Camps:

• Tuition: $95.00
• Time: 9-Noon
• Dates: June 7-11thor June 21-25th

Dance, dress, and become a princess for a week! This camp will teach beginning ballet and jazz techniques as well as tap, clogging, and creative movement. All dancers will learn routines choreographed to well-known Disney music. All attending princesses will receive their own tiara and decorate their own costume for the final performance at the end of the week! Sign up soon! These classes will fill up quickly! Each camp meets from 9-noon, Monday-through Friday. A snack will be provided. Please see the above “Reservation Deposit & Tuition” box for Registration information.

8 & Up:

“Out of the Box” Contemporary Dance Camp:

• Tuition: $95.00
• Time: 9-Noon
• Date: July 26-30th
• Pre-Requisite: See Below "Placement Days" information.

"Contemporary dance is an exciting opportunity to dance "outside the box," consistently pushing the limits of movement and style. It draws on modern dance technique as well as newer philosophies of movement that depart from classical dance. This class will incorporate martial arts, acrobatics, and progressive floor work to create new and powerful movement."

“Rhythm in Motion” Percussive Dance Camp:

• Tuition: $95.00
• Time: 9-Noon
• Date: August 2-6th
• Pre-Requisite: See Below “Placement Days” Information

Come learn a variety of new moves from national champion dancers and instructors recently seen on the hit NBC Show, “America’s Got Talent.” You will learn some of the latest moves from a variety of percussive styles (clogging, tap, & African boot dancing). Your feet will never want to stop moving!

“Get to the Pointe” - Ballet Dance Intensive:

• Tuition: $115.00
• Time 9am-1pm
• Dates: July 19-23rd
• Pre-Requisite: See Below “Placement Days” Information

Come spend a week working and studying ballet in a professional setting. Dancers will spend their week taking technique class, learning ballet repertoire, & studying the work of the ballet masters. This intensive will strictly follow the Vagonova teaching method; the chosen method of Russia.

8 & UP CAMP & INTENSIVE PLACEMENT DAYS: All of our above camps cater to a variety of levels and ages. In order to make our camps more enjoyable and effective, we divide the classes by age and level. The Saturday prior to each camp or intensive, dancers attend a placement class to determine which class they will be in the week of the camp! The class will be from 10-11:00am. If you have no prior experience, that is perfectly fine! Dancers with no previous experience do not need to attend the placement class; they will automatically be placed in a beginning level with their own age group! Our “Aerial” dance camp is the only camp that requires previous dance experience (you must have had 1-12 years of either dance or Gymnastics training). This camp will not have a placement class the Saturday prior to its start.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT & TUITION: A $25.00 deposit is required at registration, and the full amount is required one week prior to the event. There are no refunds on camps or intensives. However transfers to other camps will be allowed based on availability.
